The Allegheny branch of Harleysville Insurance underwrites approximately $68 million in property and casualty business for more than 85 independent agency partners in 28 western Pennsylvania counties. As a full-service branch office, we also offer a full array of life insurance products, and we are one of the leading flood insurance writers in the country. Harleysville Insurance has a strong commercial lines division that aggressively seeks to write well-managed small to medium-sized accounts that find value in our expertise, product portfolio and service capabilities. Our core business is driven by the following key market segments: retail, service, wholesale, light manufacturing, property managers and skilled building trades. In addition to these specific market segments, Harleysville seeks to write insureds that are well-managed, safety-conscious businesses with a track record of risk management expertise. Harleysville Insurance also continues to devote significant resources to our personal lines book of business.
